On Saturday June 21 2008, Join the Toronto HPV group on a casual group ride through city parks and ravines, followed by an afternoon lunch and display session at a west-end street festival. Details below.


Saturday Morning Bike Ride

  • 10:30am meet at the south end of Grange Park at the corner of John St. and Stephanie St., right near the Urbane Cyclist. (Map)
  • 11:00am ride departs towards the lake. Ride westbound to the Humber River, ride North to Lawrence Ave., and back down to Bloor St. via Tretheway, Caledonia, and Symington Ave. (Map). Approx. 30km.
  • Ride could easily be made shorter or longer, depending on peoples' moods.


Saturday Afternoon lunch and and display at the BIG Festival

  • 1:00pm arrive at the BIG Festival on Bloor St. between Lansdowne Ave. and Christie Pits.
  • Find our display table and park bikes.
  • Plenty of lunch options from local vendors.
  • Hang out, enjoy the festival, etc. Just need at least one person to always watch over bikes etc.
  • 6:00pm, the entire street festival turns into a BIG dinner party. Grab some food from a local vendor and stick around.
